5th Poseidon Adventure Fan Club Reunion
April 12, 2003

It just doesn't get any better than this. Having the opportunity to break bread and chat one-on-one with those directly involved in the production of the film I hold dearest to my heart was an experience I will treasure for
the rest of my life.  Thank you Captain Jak Castro and Purser Kyl for
everything you and others did to make this an event to remember.

Poseidon Adventure Fan Club President
Jak Castro with Director Ronald Neame, Stella Stevens (Linda Rogo), and Carol Lynley (Nonnie).

Is this cool or what?!   Phil Dearing created this three-dimensional back drop for the event.  I was beyond impressed, and it was nothing less than surreal seeing Stella Stevens, Carol Lynley, and Ronald Neame dining with this in the background.  The instrumental music you hear in the dining room was playing during lunch.  Again, absolutely surreal.

Truly a dream come true for me: finally getting to meet Carol Lynley in person!  She has a wonderful sense of humor and was very friendly and gracious.
My partner Scott chats with Ronald Neame while having his copy of Ronnie's  new autobiography, "Straight from the Horse's Mouth"  signed.

Scott was in awe when he got to meet the one and only, always popular and stunning Stella Stevens.

Oh, I got to meet her too!  It's no wonder why Ms. Stevens is the favorite celebrity of many fans.

Again, beautiful and charming Carol Lynley.

The man of the hour.   Ronald Neame graciously signed his book, chatted with fans, and seemed sincerely appreciative of the reception he received from the fans.  What a honor and privilege it was to have the opportunity to thank him personally for the wonderful film he
gave us.
